The only thing this website asks you for is what you choose to type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, a telephone number if you would rather be called, the boat you are asking about, and your message. It is emailed to us so that we can answer you, and a copy is kept with the site's own records so that no enquiry is lost. It is used to answer you and for nothing else: no account is opened, no newsletter is joined, and it is never sold or passed to anyone outside the company. Nothing else on the site asks you for anything. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or pixels of any kind, and the site sets no cookies on your device.

Like every website, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps ordinary technical records of the requests it receives, such as the network address your browser connects from and the pages it asked for. Those records exist so the service can be kept running and protected, and they are not used to identify you or to build a profile of you.

Every photograph, drawing and piece of writing on this website belongs to Big Waves. None of it may be copied, republished or used elsewhere without our written permission.

This website carries no advertising and sells no advertising space. Where an advertisement mentioning Big Waves, our boats or our yachts appears anywhere other than on this website, it was not placed by us and is not under our control, and we are not responsible for it or for anything it says.

Some pages link to the websites of other companies in the group and to those of people we work with. Once you follow such a link you are on a website we do not run, with its own way of handling your information. We are not responsible for what those websites contain or for what they do with anything you give them.
